As Jim K pointed out, a good number of presidents were in fact Freemasons.
Also bear in mind that most Freemasons are very devout Christians. Their belief is that a New World Order has been "sanctioned" by God - the Christian God.
You must know about the strange pyramid symbol on the back of the One Dollar Bill. This is actually the reverse side of the Great Seal of the United States.
Roughly translated (VERY roughly, so please forgive any unintended euphemisms), the Latin phrase on the bottom of the seal is "New World Order" or "New Order Forever".
The phrase on the top of the seal is "We have been sanctioned", or "our agenda is sanctioned", or something like that.
Again, these translations are very rough. But that is in essence what they mean.
Furthermore, the Eye in the Pyramid that watches over us is supposedly the Eye of God, also known as "the All Seeing Eye".
The pyramid, Eye, and mottos are all Freemason symbols and phrases. These things are on the Great Seal because so many of the Founding Fathers were both Christian and Freemason.
So you see, the organization which you call a "cult that wants to take over the world" includes as its member base many famous and modern presidents, all of whom were faithful Christians.
Remember that the next time you spend a buck while thinking that you won't support any Freemasons. You're spending money that they invented, in a free country established by many of their members.
And also remember this: their organization is called FREE masons; that's FREE, as in FREEDOM.

Note: I wasn't going to answer but here it is. First of all I like them. I tend to tease the ones I know.
So off into the 3rd person we go.
DC. is shaped like various masonic symbols, by design. They even allow islamics, hence the oil connection.
The only thing wrong with them seems to be the secrecy. Here's an excerpt from wiki
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freemasonry
Regular Freemasonry requires that its candidates believe in a Supreme Being, the interpretation of the term being subject to the conscience of the candidate. This means that men from a wide range of faiths, including Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism can all become Masons.
Since the early 19th Century, in the irregular Continental European tradition (meaning irregular to those Grand Lodges in amity with UGLE), a very broad interpretation has been given to a (non-dogmatic) Supreme Being; in the tradition of Baruch Spinoza and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - or views of The Ultimate Cosmic Oneness - along with Western atheistic idealism and agnosticism.
To answer the question, all the candidates probably are. | pwn j00, n00b!

Then you wouldn't have voted for George Washington, James Monroe, Andrew Jackson, James K. Polk, James A. Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, James A. Garfield, William McKinley, Theodore Roosevelt, William H. Taft, Warren G. Harding, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry Truman or Gerald Ford?

I am a Freemason, Nitro please tell me why you think Freemasonry is a cult.
I see people say these crazy things that are full of lies but then they never back any of it up.
It is just silly. That you believe all the anti-mason propaganda you read.
For example you probably believe masonry gets evil at higher levels. THERE ARE NO HIGHER LEVELS IN MASONRY. It is foolish to think a group who primary belief is that all people are equal would then have levels. The degrees with higher numbers are part of a different group that requires you to be a Masons to join. here read the second paragraph of this link

No, but we may need one. The founding fathers of this country were, and they did a great job creating something spectacular but now that the greedy neofascists took over it's all going to pot. Bring on the FREEMASONS!

I don't know where you got your information from but it is incorrect. Irregardless of that however at this point there are so many potential candidates with their hat in the ring it is difficult to know what they are. It will probably be about the end of this year or the beginning of next when the main contenders emerge.

Cut back on the History Channel & Discovery Channel shockumentaries, dude. You have no idea what you're talking about, or how many masons have been president.
Bought the DaVinci Code hype, huh?

A better question is: Are any of the 2008 presidential candidates honest? They are all politicians, so the answer has to be NO
