4) Ask questions as well (remember that you are interviewing them as well)

5)Don't be cocky
6) Ask for the job at the end of the interview (if you want it)\

Do's:
Look the interviewer in the eye
Smile
Tell them you want to work for them
Give truthful honest answers
Dress well, fingernails clean, hair neat
Let the interviewer finish a question before you answer
Enunciate and give concise thoughtful answers

Don't:
Dress to casual
Answer the question with what you think they want to hear
Be egotistical
Be religious or proclaim your faith or horoscope
Say you are a fast learner (everyone says that)

I've interviewed over a thousand people, and after a while there is a commonality in interviews. While people that are bland interviewers with common answers get hired and do well. The ones that are shoe-ins tend to be people that are honest, and don't try to spin anything. An interview is all about culture fit. So don't be disappointed if you don't get the job, instead realize that they don't think you would be successful based on their professional experiences. Be grateful for the opportunity to interview and keep getting yourself out there.

Before you go to the interview make two lists, one of what you are looking for and what a good job will provide you. And a list of what you are trying to avoid and why. This will help you get in the right mindset. No job is a 100% match for either party, you will meet in the middle somewhere.
