My boyfriend and I were having unprotected sex about the last day of my period and a day after. What are the chances of getting pregnant this way?

ovulation typically starts about 2 weeks after the start of the period, ejaculate can stay in you for about 3 days, although it's effectiveness decreases very quickly. there is a small chance of conception a few days after period ending, much greater chance about a week after it ends.

Sperm can live as long as 4-5 days inside the womens body. It depends on when you ovaluted. I am not sure how old you are or where about you live but I live in michigan and they are fighting to get the morning after pill where you can buy it in the store. I would look into that if you are worried but you have a short window for you to be able to use it.

Your chances are very great for getting pregnant. If this just happened and don't want to be pregnant take the morning after pill.

Very unlikely as u would not have ovulated yet. Ovulation usually occurs about 14 days after the first day of your last period.
So, i doubt it.

It absolutely could happen. You're really taking a risk unless you want to get pregnant.

I agree if your fertile enough it can happen at anytime of the month.. Maybe you should look into the morning after pill if you don't want to be pregnant...

It depends on when your ovulating. I hear its even possible to get pregnant while on your period.

Well, it depends on when you ovulate and also on how long the sperm will live. Can't predict. Sperm can live for quite a few days.

chances are you could be pregnant. can't give you a percentage no one can and if they think they can they are wrong.
