1. Take a really deep breath and let it out calmly and coolly. Then, think of something, anything that makes you laugh.
2. Blink a few times and look into the light; this makes your pupils dilate and keep tears from falling.
3. Pinch yourself -- your mind will focus on the pain instead of the emotion. Don't pinch so hard that you cry from the pain, though.
4. Get a stress squeeze toy. It really help release all the negetive energy that's all inside. Screaming helps too sometimes. Get something to scream into that makes it muffled and quiet.
5. Do math problems in your head. Emotion comes from the right side of the brain. Doing even simple addition and subtraction activates the left side of your brain and can circumvent the emotional response you're having.

Once you've given your feelings some room to breathe, look at something to make you laugh. It probably won't work at first, but if you keep watching things--Monty Python, a sitcom, a trashy reality show--your mind will work off her. Don't try to repress anything, just understand that you've given the even its fifteen minutes, come to terms with the fact she's gone, she's not coming back, but you had some good times nonetheless, then release the grief back into the world. You don't need to keep the pain. You can keep the happiness you had, no matter how brief, and let the negativity go.

Go find your own fun. If it's a guy you don't need him..They're many guys out there if you keep crying over someone or something that wasn't meant for you. How are you ever gonna find what is meant for you?

Keep your mind busy with something fun, watch a good movie or play a game or something, but the more you think about it and be miserable, the harder will be for you to stop. feel better and keep it up!

Be happy that you are alive and living life the way it was meant to be lived and felt and experienced. Crying is life, be happy in the fact that you FEEL, that things get to you, that you're alive. Now go out and make someone smile!

I know you are hurting but unless you stop focusing on what they might be doing you will fall further into this state. Get some thing to occupy yourself with and as time passes, the pain will decrease. Please stop crying!
