He was the right person for the right time. Sometimes the powers that be need to be awakened. If they are in a deep slumber, it may be that you need to be LOUD.

I will prepare myself for the thumbs down barrage. But no I think he debunked a lot of the good work that Martin Luther King had done. They have always said King walked with the angels the same can't be said for X. Malcom X was a self serving person who got lost in his own hype and the true meaning of his cause. Which is a shame, I think he did more damage then good. Racism is till a sad part of life and he caused many to be lost at the heart and mind stage.

He was good in that he was trying to get equal rights for people. Though his use of violence to intimidate people was bad, as was the reversed segregation that has arisen where blacks separate themselves from everyone else.
Overall I'd say he was a good man as his influence helped blacks gain recognisance.

It's true Malcolm X was a criminal. When he was released from prison he preached white inferiority.

But when he traveled to Mecca where he prayed beside blond hair blue eyed men in fellowship he wasn't too proud or full of hate to change his outlook. It is at this point that he was considered public enemy numero uno. He began to attract too many white followers.

His is a story of a selfless, sincere, brave leader.
