Would robust and dogged be a better way to portray her condition?

Robust as in healthy and big boned and dogged as in determined. Oh, never mind. I am just digging myself a bigger hole. What are the negative euphemisms for a husky guy?

Katydid: give me a break. Sophia Loren was voluptuous; Rosie O'Donnell is volumninous. There is a difference.

Robust is okay but dogged just means ugly. Just because a girl isn't a size six, it doesn't mean she is fat. It all depends on how she is built. She could just be thick but if she's fat then she's fat. Using the words thick, big, and robust are a lot less insensitive than fat ***. However, if the person looks sloppy than there's no other name for them other than fat lard.lol

It would be devastating to label a woman as husky or dogged. Robust is borderline insulting.

Husky is a tad bit better than large boned. Robust and dogged is icky. Plump is best.

I think robust sounds better. Although it might be tough going for her, some guys like this type of woman.

These derogatory terms must not be used of women. Voluptuous or voluminous are acceptable.

The husky male may be referred to as hefty, stout, stocky, sturdy or brawny. Humungus and mammath are considered offensive.

"husky" I think would really hurt for a woman. It's like saying "well, you're not fat, but you're getting there." I'm not sure how to put it nicely

Ouch. Why do you need to label anybody? Maybe big boned or solid would be more delicate?
