Just wondering. I've heard that they may scrap the penny and remove it from circulation.

No, after all it takes five pennies to make a nickel, and thats five times the cents one dingy penny has !

I heard the same. it will be five cents and so on ,so the remaining coins will still have cents...

It would be really weird... but then they would have to make everything, including tax, add up to a multiple of five.... I don't think anyone would want to do enough work to make that happen.

I don't know how they can do that unless they are rounding everything up to the nearest nickel.
