Do you ever feel like you are smarter then almost all around you?

I think most people on Answers would say yes, because I have read somewhere that the smarter you are the less friends you have. Therefore I am going to generalize that if I was less smart, I would have more friends and thus I would not be on Answers so much...

Just a thought, but what do you think - Are you smarter then most of the people you know?

Actually, I could say that I'm smart, but not to the point that I consider myself smarter than most of the people around me. 'Coz in one way or another, there will be different areas that I will excel in, or another area that they'll excel in.I think, the reason why some don't want to be friends with smart people is that it gets intimidating to be with them. Because they know a lot of things that you don't know, & you'll feel somewhat overpowered by them. But still, I think that there's nothing wrong with that. And not all smart people are of less friends, they will surely have many friends if people will only see the real them.. =)

That is completetly untrue.
i'm smart, in fact i'm smarter than most of my friends.
But i have alot of friends.. and me being smart is not the reason why they friends like me.

Smarter than some, but I tend to gravitate to people that are at least as intelligent as me or better.

I seem to be, compared to my peers I seem to have more of an array of knowledge.

And "coincidently" I have a handful of close, good friends
