I have a chihuahua and he takes up as much space as he possibly can. What he does is wait till i'm on the corner of the bed by the wall, then he lays right up by me butt in my face and growls everytime i move.

My dog takes up 3/4 of the bed. He weighs 11 lbs.

It's been a work in progress. When my girlfriend and I moved in together, her dog, now our dog, slept right between the two of us. Over the first couple years she gradually moved down and down. Now she sleeps at the foot of the bed.

The cat takes up a little strip between us till I move him.. We aren't dog people. We would be robot dog people but until they breed a dog that doesn't lose its fur, have slpbbery bad breath and does ite business in a cat box, we will stick to cats.

Our dog doesn't get to sleep in the bed. He takes the couch. He has a tendency to chew up blankets.

My dog was only small (a runt Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) but he took up 3 quarters of the bed! (I was always pushed to the edge) AND HE SNORED!!!!!!!!

we have two small ones and we have a cal king bed and it seems like were on a twin when the dogs are with us.

Only one of our three chihuahuas' sleep with us only because she, her name is Biscuit, can jump up on the bed. We have a king size bed so she takes up very little room.
