Okay. So Mexicans are "invading" the United States. But are they killing people?

Question

I just posed a question reference how people in the U.S. would react if we were invaded by another country. Most of the answerers equivocated..that is to say, they asked another question in response. So....since they brought it up, and bear with me, are Mexicans killing US citizens: Do they carry guns? Don't they pick grapes and cabbage that YOU won't pick (being paid a dollar two eighty per hour, or day). Bear with me. What have they done to you or your family? Are they taking YOUR jobs?
Last I checked, there were more white people collecting welfare and food stamp benefits than Mexicans, Latinos or Blacks. So help me to understand. And PULLLEESE don't complain about YOUR tax dollars taking care of these people, because the most YOUR tax dollars are taking care of are BIG BIG business, e.g. Halliburton, Bechtel, Cheney etc...and the list goes on and on.
So explain it to me. And please do not equivocate or call me names or attempt to insult me...because those tactics do not work.

Just try to ansewr this question with some semblance of intelligence. I know you can do it.!

I must laugh. Americans are NOT going to pick grapes, lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, oranges, corn, potatoes, etc. NO MATTER what they are offered in the way of wages. And yes, what if they did. You'd end up paying them at least 10- dollars an hour, adn a bag of potatoes would rise to 8 dollars per 5-lb bag, grapes would be 10.00 a lb. ON SALE, and a head of lettuce would be 7.50. So just stop. And for the other answerer, stop equating Mexicans with Blacks. You've MORE white sickos killing people every day, if they aren't eating them and/or dismembering them than Mexiocans. And why is it when you start spouting statististics' you conveniently leave out the "white" contributions to crime. And yes, I'm white..I guess I just see things differently....which is my right.

I'm sure there exists gangs, killers, drug dealers, or other kind of criminals between the mexican and latin comunity. But there exists as well american people, who are already legal, or that have been american forever who are making the same felonies as them, and both would deserve the same penalty, i wouldn't defend any of them.
But i guess that's not the point, the point is about the people who is trying to work honestly to have a way of subsist.
Some of you are talking about those person who are getting less pay that some american people would accept for the same work, then let them work in the same conditions than you, let them compite with american people with the same wage.
Do you think that would be a more fair competence? that's what the bill is about, if you let people enter to your country, you would have more security, since they would be documented.
That's a good arrengment for both of our countries, try to see it from another perspective.
On the other hand, i know there are some thing that should requested from the immigrants, and i guess that migth be achieved by a good bill, like the english in the people who wants to work in the USA. I'm sure many of the immigrants would learn english.
The real need is to find a way to solve both needs! think of it, your country could even benefit with the labor we send to the USA.

Yes. Illegal immigrants gangs are murdering people. African AMericans are the main target here in Los Angeles, although I think some might say its the illegal El Salvadorians.

Also these gangs fllod our streets with drugs and are killing people indirectly as well. THe question is what percent of the illegal immigrants are responsible for murder and is this number acceptable. Legal citizens kill people too.

Edit. I also like to point out that Italians, Irish, Jews, and Chinese cause a higher percent of crime when they first came here. THey are in the most part fine citizens now.
THere is a difference with the illegals compared to the 4 mentioned above. The illegals are poorly regulated and crime is far less controllable. I don't have an easy answers, just pointing out facts and opinions.

What are you implying here? That if an illegal is not directly taking my job that I don't have an interest in the situation?

What about the couple murdered by the 3 time convicted DUI illegal alien in TN? How far removed from them do I have to be so that I have no right to complain? If I were just a nephew to them, would you tell me to shut up PULLLLLEESE since it wasn't my own mom and dad?

If you want to go to who collects the most welfare and food stamps, please use the percentage of each group and see how that looks. You can try that with prison populations as well and again, it is quite interesting.

Yes, some Mexicans carry guns.

Yes, some Mexicans kill Americans.

They (illegals) do jobs that Americans will do but not for the salary that the Mexicans (illegals) will do, it's call minimum wage (something that illegals don't have the right to require).

Perhaps the American welfare recipients would lower if the illegals (since you are only discussing Mexicans I want to interject that I really am, as well as other anti-illegals, talking about all illegals) weren't working jobs for $1.80 that the law requires we get paid a minimum that is much higher then that.

Our tax dollars do take care of illegals, by paying for their anchor children's food stamps, rent, schools, medicaid, etc. Meaning that the illegals get benefits from it as well. As well as supporting companies like Haliburton, Bechtel, Cheney and other companies that employ illegals.

Illegals are a big contributing factor to problems that people like me, who has been working for over 20 years since I was a child and contributing to the system, to get benefits that I deserve, such as affordable healthcare.

Just because you feel that you are too good to work the fields doesn't mean that there aren't other legal american citizens and residents that wouldn't do it for a decent wage. There are plenty of down on their luck people that would love the opportunity to work and support their families but can't because the illegals have the jobs instead.

Yes they are killing people. See gang violence in Los Angeles. They are also using our system for free, most Americans don't get to do that. If we don't pay our bills our credit gets sick. Where I live there are hundreds if not thousands of Mexican workers competing for my work. I can't compete with people who are living ten, fifteen to a house sharing all their bills. I see this in my immediate area. I compete with them every day as a small business owner. I know they are not all here legally and would even say most of them are illegals. They do harm our economy and if big business would pay a living wage they could get plenty of Americans to work picking crops.

Why just the Mexicans? It is illegal immigrants that are the problem, and they are overcrowding our children's schools and draining education funds to the extent that schools are failing in areas where they concentrate.

Murder isn't the only crime.

However, I have seen some pretty amazing statistics on the number of US citizens per year killed by illegal aliens.
