Ironically enough. I live in Alaska where the Pipeline runs through the state. And, we literally have an oil refinery here in town that I live. Yet, our gas prices seem to be higher than some states in the lower 48. I think it is ridiculous that gas prices are what they are. Especially where some places don't offer "city transportation".

because they can do what ever they want. the goverment has no say over the price of gas. and they won't fight with the countries makeing all the money on it. you think that is bad explain why usa sells oil to foreing countries then they turn around and sell it back to us at a profit.

well i live in southwestern pa.,and its $2.55 for reg,but i heard it is suppose to go to $3.00 a gal this summer.i think the reason for the gas hike is those rich oil cartels are filling their pockets.if everyone would fill their tank and dont buy gas for a week or so,then watch the price come down.

The gas prices go up because there is less and less every day so if there less its more valuable.

They say it is because of driving season. I think we all should buy hybreds and only drive half as much - screw the oil cos.
