I absolutely think they are too "mature" for children. Their breasts are improperly proportioned & they have skinny little bodies that make them look anorexic. I actually have one surprisingly enough... but...I don't Idol it and I DEFINITALY don't see myself in 12 years looking like that...NEVER...NOT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I personally think that the product makers should be SUED!!!

In my opinion, I think the Bratz dolls aren't very influential to little kids because the way they dress will have an impact on them. They will start to have the tendency to want to dress like the Bratz dolls which is very bad. I think that parents should stick with purchasing Barbie dolls for their children instead of Bratz dolls.

The influence these and other dolls have on children depend on how good your parenting skills are. Barbie, a doll I have grown up with, always wore heels, never really married Ken, and had a "sister"/"friend", Skipper! Did this doll create all the divorces or lesbians or "desperate housewives"? NO! People become who they are based on two things - genetics and upbringing. If genetics doesn't make people "hoes" then it is parenting - or lack there of. Kids require explanations that too often adults don't give. This is the fault of the adult! If you buy your kid a doll like this you should explain the significance of their wardrobe. Be honest with them. Don't skirt the issue because you are too nervous to talk about it. If you really are too nervous to talk about things with your children, maybe you should not have had children! Bottom line is - if your kid becomes a hoe it is because you did/didn't do something that enabled this behavior. END OF STORY!!!
P.S.
You shouldn't be looking at DOLLS to be roll models for children - YOU (the parent) should be setting the examples!

Bratz dolls are a very bad role models for children. The reason that they're inappropriate is because of the sexual aspect the dolls portray. the cartoonish characters are obviously a sign that the company is target young girls who are far to young. A child that young can get the wrong idea, even from toys.

women at that age dont choose ot take transport of dolls to play with who positioned on approximately as plenty clothing as a stripper (a jiffy into her habitual). If each and every person has Bratz dolls and all te women think of theyre cool then they'll attempt to look like them. in basic terms take a glance at a Bratz doll and ask your self what you may do in the journey that your daughter theory it replaced into okay to gown like that as quickly as she is 7 or 8 years old (or any age)

My daughter is 5 and was watching Bratz on TV, I didn't like the language (teen) and the way they dress, especially when she wanted to wear only small shirts to show her torso. That was it!
She got a baby Bratz for her BD, the clothes were too shanky. I returned them. I'm glad I did. It really was not a model for my daughter which at her age is unable to understand the ramification.

Yes, when I was younger I used to play with them when they first came out, and I turned out fine, I think they're just dolls and they aren't going to affect your kids when they're older because they start acting like they're too old for dolls and then they'll want nothing to do with them.
I think you should let the child decide if they like them or not.

My daughter is two so I never paid much attention to them until I was Xmas shopping last year... and I was in SHOCK!!! I was with my mom and said "look at these slutty little dolls," cause that's exactly what they are. They look like hoes out of a rap video. I can't believe that anyone would have the audacity to produce them, and then market them to young girls. I hope my daughter never never never wants any of them, because she will NOT be getting them.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My cousin went up to me once when she was 4 and told me, "I'm gonna dress just like Cloe!" They also have Bratz Fashion Pixiez out right now. Little kids are gonna think that they can grow pixie wings, just like the Bratz girls.
