Is it just me or the majority of commercials cover all races but native americans?Thought maby I was missing something.

This is simply because of oppression. The government likes to perpetuate the myth that Natives are going extinct. Natives are the invincible race. Many people still believe there are no Natives left or they are on their way out. Native populations are rising. The only reason they are so small in numbers in first places is because of Genocide and colonization. Why does the government want to keep Natives as invincible? If Natives are seen and heard more then they are afraid they will have to acknowledge the needs of Native people. This scares the crap out of them because there is So much injustice done to Native people at the hands of the government. If people saw Natives as real people on commercials and such they just might join our cause. You might think it is coincidence but it's not.
I'm a Native woman, when I see a Native on TV i'm calling up my Native buddies ASAP, it is such a rare occasion. Especially if they aren't being portrayed in a culturally ignorant or stereotypical way.

Native Americans don't really raise a stink about how they were treated, so the white majority doesn't feel the need to pacify them with equality issues.
