Yes he can teeth that early!! My daughter started teething at that age also. Try giving him frozen teething rings, or even a wet washcloth for him to suck on. You could even try some baby orajel if he seems like he is in pain.

Yes, babies can start teething quite early. My son started teething at 3 months old. Heck, some babies or born with teeth. It may take some time for them to actually show up. Plus, when they're little like that that kind of pain is new to them. My son is almost a year old and teethes like a pro now. He doesn't even cry anymore over it. Just hang in there!

He's likely going through his 3 month growth spurt a little early and it's affecting his comfort behaviors. My 9 month old daughter started chewing on her hands at about that age and didn't cut a tooth until 7 mos. If he's irritated, there's a homeopathic teething relief gel that they sell at the pharmacy that won't hurt him, try it and if his behavior improves then you know it's teeth! If not, hang on... it's a long and bumpy ride the three month growth spurt. If you're breastfeeding he'll nurse constantly or take more bottles than normal for the next couple of weeks. Good luck!

Hi there, babies can be born with teeth, so teething at that age is possible. My son was born with 2 teeth and by the age of 3 months had another 4 teeth. It is hard, but we found a cool flannel helped out heaps.

I think my son chewed on things and drulled for about 2 or 3 months before we ever saw any teeth. He may be teething, but probably won't come in for another 1-2 months, which is a little early.

Nope it's pretty normal-my son is 8 mos old and just getting two teeth he used to do this all the time-literally all the time before he got teeth. His poor little hand was so red and sore i had to put socks and penaten cream on them.So yes he just is preparing to start to teeth early.he is okay.

He can be teething this early, my daughter did!
Check his gums. If they feel hard, look swollen or have little white lumps on them, then it's time to get the Bonjela out.
But, it is normal for babies this age to put everything in their mouths- it's their way of learning about things because their mouth is the most sensitive part of the body.

It's normal baby stuff. He's just figuring out that his hand is attached to the rest of his body and is fascinated by the feelings and is realizing that it's all part of him. Welcome to the next two years!
