the amount of foreigners able to be in the squad should be dropped to 3 only! that way more ENGLISH,SCOTTISH etc players have the chance to perform and develop and our OWN countries should get a lot better!

i would like to see the officials watching a video replay of the game.
if they decide a player has cheated to win a penalty or get a free kick, other player booked or sent off etc, they can then give them a red card and a ban, at the minute all we seem to do is watch how a player dived and nothing is done or can be done about it, officials should have the power to ban someone after the game, this is the only way to stop the cheats.
the result in the game would stand....a ref has to make a decision as he sees it, he will make mistakes but this is part of the game and always has been, once the cheating is stopped his job will be much easier.
in game video is a non starter, everyone would complain about everything and the game would last all day.
someway of keeping the ball in play would be a great idea, out of 90+ minutes the ball might only be in play for around 60 or so.
i am deliberatley keeping away from the offside rule.....dont matter how many times they mess with it, it only ever gets worse.

I would make three changes;
1) Video replay, for goals, penalty awards and game changing decisions.
2) Remove the offside rule. Why should faster strikers be penalised for slow defenders? And stop this nonsense of offside during heated attack, if the ball is carooming around inside the area and it ends up in the back of the net, the goal should stand no matter who was standing where. Works in Ice Hockey.
3) Salary and transfer fee caps. There's no way that David Villa is worth 85 million of anything, let alone money.

One thing that I think should be added in soccer is adopting the cricket or rugby refering system where if the referee is not 100% sure he then allows a tv replay to confirm.
I think they've done a little bit of it by allowing them have mike to communicate but it's totally insufficient.
The proof is in the game between Chelsea vs Arsenal where the referee only saw Toure and Mikel pushing each other while his linesman added Adebayor also pushed Lampard and the most agressive action only was seen on replay.
Thanx!

Reply to:
points awarded for goal diff in each game- 3-0 winner gets three points, 3-1, winner gets two points. Draw = no points.
That would encourage attacking play and at the last day of the season, several clubs could still theoretically win the league.
It is an interesting idea, but what if you lose 0-3, then you get to deduct 3 points? Then I don't see it would encourage attacking play.

i dont like the fact that if a player gets fouled, and the referee gives a free kick, the injured player has to leave the field if he has received treatment, thus meaning the team who was in possesion of the ball is punished by only having 10 men on the field,

I would take away penalties as a decisive way to announce the winner.
I would add technology to help referees take the right decision
