The book is from the early 1900's, Its as big as a suit case. The title is Hallmark Fine Arts Collection with a last name on it, whch is Skira. Probably the artist Albert Skira. I did take it to the library and the librarian said there was only one other book to this collection in the U.S.. Im trying to find out just how much this book is worth. Can someone help me?

It sounds as if you need to use the Antiquarian Booksellers Association. Their website is http://www.abaa.org/

They do have a search feature, but I didn't see anything with Hallmark on it. My suggest is that you search under Skira as author. I had 14 hits; one book was listed for $3000; others much less. It lists the bookseller who has that title. I'd contact three or so of them who already have a Skira title, describe what you have, and see what they say. This is a very reputable organization and the members adhere to their standards.

Good luck! Sounds like an interesting book.

http://www.abebooks.com is a sort of portal site where you can enter as much book info as you have, and the search will look through the listings of hundreds of book dealers. It's a great resource and tool. Try it. The advanced search may get you farther. I have tried it with what you gave me, and can't find it. With advanced search, you can include the year of publication, and the publisher. Give it a spin. Good luck...
