Here is an idea that we came up with and have had a lot of fun with, btw i wrote this to answer an other person's question. The reason this has been so intimate is because we have learned so much about each other and had some great sex too.
First, on the first and third week of the month it is up to you to come up with a date of some type, on the second and the fourth it is up to your other to come up with a date. The big thing is you should never repeat the exact same date twice in a six month time period. If you follow the "not repeat" idea your dates will be more fun. A date could be...a long walk and a picnic lunch...wash each others car(s) and then each other and take it from there...go to the drug store and look for a card to give each other and exchange the card there, read the card, put the card back, then go to an auto showroom and pick out a car for each other but don't buy them, then go to the mall and pick out clothes for each other but don't get them, the look for sexy things for both to wear and BUY THEM! These are but a few of the cheap date ideas you can have fun with.

Ok...rocky mountains are in Tennessee or the Carolinas right? I'd say, before the mesquitos get really bad, pack up a nice camping trip and head for a beautiful spot in the mountains.....then have hot sex in the woods babe. Take pics of each other in various tarzan and jane poses in the woods to share with each other later. Make sure you MAKE LOVE somewhere in there during that hot sex too and say I love you to each other often, while you are looking in each other's eyes, not bird watching or cooking dinner. If you don't want to go camping, hit the city lights and paint the town by each of you making a list of all the things you've always wanted to do, and/or the things you've wanted to see, and see what you can do on those lists according to your economic, geographic and time limitations and then DO THEM!
Oops....rocky mountains are in Colorado...I should remember that since I lived there AND in TN for a while. Smokies are in TN and Carolinas!

You guys could go for a nice walk in the park to learn more about each other, bonding is always essentail in a relationship.
You could also just watch a ovie at your house, not at the cinema, cos you cant talk. Just make sure that if you are goin on a 3 hour date, dont make half of it a silent movie, or something boring. I really just like to cuddle and talk with my hubby. Mabey go to a concert....

How about a picnic in your livingroom? Or, a night at a local motel/hotel? Just going for a nice long walk in your neighborhood? Then a bath or massage by candle light when you get back home? Or, do you have a jar you could use for hand written couupons? For you and your man to write a coupon, like you might write on yours to give him a back or full body massage, by candle light. Or a night out for dinner, the movies, etc. And, he could do the same for you. Then, for your date night, pull out one of the coupons, and do what it says. I have a sister who has been married 42 yrs so far, and she and her man have gone on weekends away from home. little "honeymoons" for a night or two. He has even surprised her upon occasion with a new nightgown-penoire set at the destination location. Other ideas--maybe take a class together-like for cooking some type of foods you like, but want to learn how to cook yourself? Like chinese, greek, foods, etc. Or take a dance class together-ballroom, salsa, etc. You could sign up for those for I think 8-10 weeks of class. Or, just spend an evening at home cooking your favorite meal together, or movies and popcorn night. Do you like bowling? Bowling lanes can sometimes offer free bowling classes. Or find a fun hobbie to do together. I wish you and your man the best. Take care.

If you have no kids then the sky's th limit. Do something romantic like get away for the weekend or just go to some ritzy hotel and enjoy each other and have fun.

Why not use the evening to review your progress toward the goals made when you first started dating. Looking at facts may not be pleasant but figuring out how to make better progress can give more joy than expected.
