I was told to keep practicing as much as possible, watch your stance, aim for the second arrow (for you on the left) , keep your arm straight as you draw back, follow through as you bring your arm forward, pretend that you are thumbing your nose at the pins. You also need the right weight of the ball and how the fingers are drilled. A lot of the Pro Bowlers just used their finger tips in their bowling balls.

I was also told to follow the arrows. Don't look at the pins as much as the alley right in front of you. Take a consistent number of steps before release; know where the foul line is and stay behind it; release the ball, using the marks on the nearest part of the alley to aim. Keep doing the rest of what you are doing.

Put down the pitcher. I used to bartend in a bowling alley when I started out bartending. I know first hand the guys who keep score are heavy drinkers.

get drunk off of beer.
when ever i bowl or play pool sober, i lose bigtime.
BUT when I drink beer , the more drunk I get the better i get at bowling or pool.
I have had real high scores in bowling from being drunk. And it works every time.
