There are too many worthy causes to choose just on the basis of which battles deserve to be fought. Ending violence, feeding the hungry, treating and curing disease, protecting endangered species, ending prejudice, protecting the environment, providing health care, and providing education are just a few.
I would choose (and actually have chosen) education because I am better fit to be a teacher than I am to do any of the other things mentioned above. I can be of best service as a teacher because that is what I'm good at.

Well, what better cause could there be more than the 'inner-well-being' !
Right here now, we are on such a non-profit organisation (the users, the like-minded, sharing such thoughts !)

What it would be would depend on the passions and interests of the individual.
My passion is teaching and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is what my life and time are dedicated to.
