Because top 40 stations play pop music and most of the Christian music that's played is crossover. Don't worry, they don't play bands such as Rackets And Drapes (Christian-goth) or heavy metal music, either.
Christian music played on those stations isn't hateful, either.

I just listened to three tracks from Prussian Blue, since I've never heard them before... But it sucked. I'm not familar with Relient K either, so IDK.
