Smartness and stupidity do not have to be proved - the audience gets the idea after a while.

Republicans aren't smart or stupid - they just have their beliefs as do the Democrats.

The one thing that Republicans exhibit that does tend to show them in a poor light is when they demand freedom and rights then try to close down everyone elses freedoms and rights.

Classically "I want to be free of government restrictions - but you cant have a gay marriage"

Do I HAVE to point out that this is contradictory?

I am not sure but John Kerry sure hasn't impressed anyone and Hillary is who we want. Bring her on. It would be the biggest landslide for the Republicans since Reagan.
