Hmm I wonder if my printer is spying on me because I jsut got some random printer message pop up as I asked this. Could this be some kind of printer conspiracy?

well, I'm just glad I don't use one. or wait... I do. but I'm not very interesting when it comes to printing. but It creeps me out that it keeps all that info and what not.

It's not just laserjets, it's ALL printer with memory drives.

Personally I have nothing to hide so I don't care what info it stores on me. Anyone wanting to check me out is gonna get an ulcer caused by boredom.
