We stayed at Mindorrine Oriental (contact number-mobile phone: 0917 857 8425; look for Brian) when we went there last year. It's right along the beach so location-wise, it's great.

Puerto Galera is full of little hotels right on the beach. It will not be hard at all to find one as touts will ask you on the beach if you need a place when you get off the boat or exit a taxi. As you move away from the center of the beach the hotels will get slightly cheaper and are quieter at night.

You can stay at Cocobeach or Marco Vincent beach resort. Your transportation from Manila to the resort can be arranged too. You can contact 3631139 or 3657602 to avail a good package.
