Abso freaking lutely.
The questions should be such things as:
"Suddenly you hate the other parent. Is the child worth every other weekend? That's valuable bar-time, you know.."
and
"You have five dollars to your name. You're out of cigarrettes and infant tylenol and your baby has a fever. What do you do?"

No, I think learning how to be a parent comes with experience. So once you have a kid you will get some qualities that will help you become a good parent..and I dont think that a test is necessary

Have you driven lately? I'm pretty sure they suspended giving tests, now you just walk in, pay a fee and are good to go.
Parenting seems to be in about the same general condition.
I swear someday the weight of all the neglect will crush our society.. but that's just what the word on the street is.

Well yes but what people are doing while they are making a baby( the act of making a baby) have very little to do with the actual baby. When most of us are doing that we are not thinking about the long time effect we are thinking about the relative short term effect.

Most definitely....a pre- parenting class /test before conceiving... a newborn parenting class/ test before child birth, then a parenting class ....every year..to keep up to date!
Kids don't come with instructions, but we could all use some support sometimes.

I wish but at the same time, how do we know what kind of parent we will really be just from a test? I agree but disagree.

Yeah, but stopping people from having kids is a lot harder than stopping people from getting their drivers license.

Definately!!! It amazes me in today's society, why some people even bother to have kids. There's a lot of parents you see that couldn't care less where their child is or what they're doing.

I think there should be - adoption agencies require that, but almost anyone can breed. It's a shame when you see parents that shouldn't be parents, but what can you do - I guess procreation is everyone's right.
