What would it be? And don't say that they go away! LOL..

I know some come her and make rude smart remarks which is un-called for but I think many including myself iare just trying to make sense of how the world is changing and understand people, faith and how people can unite for the good....We have the luxury to talk with each other on controversial topics.

Remeber how they use to say No one should ever talk of Race, Religion or Politics that was before the Internet, now we can talk about anything.

Don't you think that is a good thing? I need some thumbs up please!

I would ask that they act like true Christians.

You know, fight for peace and justice, equal rights for all, and against bigotry, discrimination and prejudice. Hmm this sounds familiar - isn't that what Jesus taught?

People who come here to defame and insult LGBT people - just for being exactly as God made them - are certainly not "christians" in any sense of the word. The better term for them is "hypocrites."

p.s. We can no longer give "thumbs up" on questions, only answers, sorry!

I would ask them why they come to Yahoo! Answers to proselytize. This site isn't a forum or message board, where these sort of things belong. I rarely see Christians on the LBGT site asking any real questions; either they're not even in question form, or they are questions to which the questioner gives their own answer.

If someone wants to ask a real question about Christianity and GLBT issues, I'm all for it, provided it's worded politely and respectfully. I think discussion on the matter is always good (if people approach it logically). But most of these people simply don't ask questions, and hence abuse this site.

Hope that helps.

No, you aren't looking for answers, you are looking for rationalizations. Reasons that can justify ignoring your own scriptures that in Matthew told you to NOT GO where you aren't wanted, justifications for Casting stones when you were told not to do so by your Christ.
You insist that Marriage belongs to YOUR religion when it clearly can be found in both secular and religious places that have absolutely nothing to do with your Bible at all, After that argument you insist it's about procreation when there is NO requirement for fertility much less procreation to marry. With 300 million people in this nation alone, jobs are getting more scarce every day, secondary education is becoming more expensive every year in order to get a decent job. Two family members must work to provide a decent way of life and you people are insisting that to marry we have to be able to bring even more children/people into this country simply because of some book 2000 years old?

What would my question be? Are you Crazy or can you simply not THINK for YOURSELVES?

THUMBS DOWN!

Remember, they're coming into OUR territory...not the other way around.

I'd like for them to be willing to have an open mind and a closed mouth.

We're all human beings and we all have our own personal ideas/ideals. Some of us are Christian, some are Buddhists, some are Jewish, some are Agnostics and some are Atheists.
I would ask that any "Christian" who comes in here to be mindful of everyone differences, learn to accept that not everyone is prime territory to proselytize, condemn, judge or convert.
I will respect your views if you respect mine!

hey! im a christian (1/3 of humanity are christians, and 90% of humanity are theists)
so, i can come here, and this is my 2nd favourite category (next to religion)
but i come here. does it have to do with religion all the time? LOL trust me, i8ts not like that one out of every three people don't have lives beyond religion.

But, if a Christian or any other race tryed to come on here to insult gays, then heck with them. they'll face judgement someday.
"Love your neighbor.''

yes, u get a thumbs up :)

Jesus isn't a fairygodfather... I repeat isn't a fairygodfather. Prayer isn't purely asking God for issues and searching forward to them to take place. Prayer is communion - a supply and take/ speaking and walking - between God and a guy or woman or a collection of human beings. A 2 way street!!! Adam & Eve (till now their fall) walked and talked (had communion) with God. All of their desires have been fulfilled - they did no longer ought to ask for issues. God is familiar with our desires even our needs. Worship God in Spirit and in fact!

I just don't understand how they can come in here and call themselves good Christians, all the while they're placing judgement on us all. God is the only one who can righfully place judgement on me. The God I've made peace with loves me for who I am and what I believe in. He knows that I'm a good, kind, caring, and loving person. The only difference between me and the people that come in here and condemn us for whom we decide to sleep with is that I don't go into heterosexual forums and bash them for sleeping with the opposite sex. Why is it their business? Did they get a special invitation from God to come in here and let us know that we're doing something that's "written in the bible......."blah blah blah...... I just don't get it. I hope you don't read that all the wrong way, it's hard to read tones on here. It's just frustrating sometimes.

Quite frankly, there's very little that a Christian has to say to me on any topic that is of any use. When they start practicing what they preach, then maybe I'll listen; until then, all they're doing is hurting other people.

To the nice ones I say hi, and to the mean ones I say nothing, because they are not really Christians. The first call of each Christian is to love God, the second is to love your neighbor as you love yourself. No hatred or judgement is supposed to be allowed.

I want to know why they spend so much time here in the first place. What attracts them to keep coming back? Are they trying to save our souls or what? I'm cool with God and dont need any help from these people who judge.
