Coldplay. I used to love them both but then i found the killers. Now they seem pretty boring to me.

I think this is a good question.
In terms of popularity, Coldplay are better, but I think i would have to lump with Travis, although I do enjoy Coldplay, especially stuff from 'A Rush of Blood to the Head' album

Travis haven't had a hit in a long time, Coldplay have been more consistent. Hmm...hard to say. I'm not really a fan of either band.
I think the ubiquitous Mister Gwyneth Paltrow's band just shades it.

I've seen them both in concert - and Travis were definitely much more enjoyable - they had the whole audience singing along with them. Coldplay are better to listen to while relaxing at home. :-)

travis - a couple of the guys went to my old school, saw them at t in the park a few times and they were superb - coldplay are more like cantplay, as in - cant play a set without making the audience fall asleep!

Coldplay every time in my opinion. I saw them at the Reebok Stadium and the place was rocking. The last album was a classic.

I would choose Travis butI think they're both a bit dull and miserable.
Athough, my all time favourite band is REM and they can have their moments of musical misery too!!
