Well, are you snotty? If not, teachers can get away with almost anything, that is the problem with tenure. Most of ours just showed movies and clipped coupons or drank during class. True, too. The only one who left was the one who was dating a 14 year old student...he was in his 50's.
All you can do is have your parents contact the principal and tell your principal what she said. And, if you have past tests that show your good grades in class projects (that show you would have an "A"), then make sure to show them as proof. Some teachers suck, and it gets worse if you go to a University.

I agree but you might be fighting city hall. Your first step is to be honest but not aggressive. Talk to your teacher. Tell you that you didn't realize that you were portraying a bad attitude and you don't have one toward her or the class. Ask her what about you makes her think that you have a bad attitude. Ask what you can do to improve in this area. Be sincere. If this doesn't work, make an appointment (and take your parent(s)) with whomever is next on the food chain. Explain exactly what happened. Do not be emotional and do not embellish. Tell the facts, explain what steps you have taken (like talking with the teacher), and stress that you do not have a bad attitude. If this does not resolve the issue, the next step is the school board. You can contact the representative for your area (your parent doing this might have more pull-I know this is unfair, but ...). Tell them the story pretty much the same way you did last time only include the higher food chain person. Unless the teacher has pretty darn good proof or an exemplary reputation, this will probably get you results. Good luck. By the way, this usually only works once so be sure you are being honest.

There should be a division between subjective and objective marking, but sometimes the two do overlap. This is a situation that calls for an intermediary. If you go to her and ask why she thinks you are snotty, or what it is about your attitude that she doesn't like, she's going to get her back up and be even harder on you. Talk to your guidance counselor, and ask if there is any way you could find out what you need to do to improve your mark or to change your teacher's perception of you.
Unfortunately, photography isn't like math where there is a right answer and a wrong answer. It is partly an art form, where composition of the picture is as important as processing it and that is not something that you can easily assign a mark to.
Hopefully, you can get some help from your counselor.

No way! she cant dish out any grades she likes on the count of how she feels. She shouldn't be allowed to teach. take this further. I am having trouble with my son's teacher at the moment and i am keeping a close eye on her before i make my move. you should start the ball rolling and get someone else involved with this. see your head teacher and if so go to the board of governors. Good luck

Were there any witnesses? If so, you've got her. Regardless, you should talk the principal about it. If she really said that, it was inappropriate and unconstructive. You might be able to file a complaint and get your A... IF she has no good argument for why she gave you that B. Think about it. If you really WERE a snot, you might be out of luck... especially if you didn't do all the work.
Good luck!

THAT IS JUST STUPID. she should NEVER do that. they should only grade your work and that is it! well look on the bright side, at least photo class is not a REAL class, you know what i am saying! anyway, she should NEVER do that. maybe you could tell your principle or something or ask an old teacher of yours!

That is not fair I would be so mad if that happened to me!!!
Your attitude, good or bad, has nothing to do with your grade.
You should tell the office or something.

I would talk to your counselor or someone above her about it.
Grading shouldn't be political.
But good luck, because she is probably going to deny saying that and such.
