sorry im wrong its not 802.22b/g but 802.11b/g, I just wanted to extend the range of my wireless network.

Basically if your high gain antenna can be connected to your router it will work fine. Most routers use the reverse SMA connector. You can find adapters that will help you on the web or local electronics store if your antenna does not have the correct adapter

Well alot depends on the router in use for the network. Does it have external antenna jacks. If so just get higher gain antenna and connect it to the connection.

If you want better range on the client side there are some adapters that also have external antenna connections. If you dont have one you will need a card with external connections to use a higher gain antenna at the computer.
