My old fridge didn't have this feature so I need to have an ice and water supply line installed. The fridge is right next to the sink so they'll just have to run a line from the sink, drill one hole in the side of the wood cabinet and hook it up to the fridge/freezer. Any idea how much this would be?
Thanks

A lot cheaper if you can do it yourself. You can get the kits to do it at most hardware stores.

Good Luck and have a nice day!

It depends who you call. A plumber will charge you a minimum call out fee, which usually (but may not!) includes the first hour of work. Expect to pay anywhere from $85/hr. up to $120, depending on where you live.

This kind of work is well within the grasp of most handymen. They generally charge much less than the pros.

If your under-sink plumbing is copper or PVC, this is a perfect DIY job. Kits are sold with everything you need plus step-by-step instructions. If you can use a screwdriver and a pair of pliers, (and maybe a drill) you should be able to do the work.Galvanized pipe is a bit more difficult to deal with.

Dude, Uncle Al is right. Any moron with half a brain can install a water line for their ice/water machine on the fridge. The kits are like $20. All of the directions even come with them.
