You willovulate BEFORE you get your period so yes you can get preg before you get your period, and breastfeeding is a lousy contraceptive. Get your butt back to your doc and get a proper method of birth control...unless you WANT another one already...

I have been breastfeeding for 10 months now and no period yet. It's completely normal and you will get your period after you stop breastfeeding. May I say though, women who breastfeed are extremely fertile so unless you want another baby, I would use protection next time. You can still get pregnant even if he pulls out.

It's possible that you are pregnant. It's very easy to get pregnant when breastfeeding. I've heard so many stories. I guess after a pregnancy you pretty much get used to not having your period and not worrying about getting pregnant. You don't realize when you ovulate and boom... you're pregnant again.
However, not getting your period does not mean that you are pregnant. Some women who breastfeed don't get their periods for 3-8 months.
I can only tell you what some other people advised: if you don't want to get pregnant, use protection to be on the safe side.

It is possible that you are expecting even thought your period hasn't come yet. You do ovulate before your bleeding starts, and I know of several people that got pregnant before their period came back after childbirth. I would go get a blood test if you have any signs that you are, as you may need extra vitamins and care due to the growing baby inside, and breastfeeding the new baby.

My son in undemanding words wore sleep suits at night time from the time his twine fell off. i got here across this truly helped him address his days and nights considering that he knew at the same time as the sleeper/footed pajamas went on, it meant it replaced into time for the lengthy sleep. he's oftentimes wearing a onesie and both pants or jumper, if that's chilly i am going to positioned a sweater or an more beneficial t-blouse on him.

Yes...that is how I got pregnant with my second child. My kids are 11 months apart. USE SOMETHING! Don't use the pull out method cause it doesn't work. Good luck to you.

Always possible, but if you are breastfeeding and haven't had a period, it's not likely.
