Ahhhhh No last time i checked there were plenty of people make millions more then i do in this country. I would love Canada to be a Nationalist nation but we are what we are and that is simply a democratic society. We are just like the United States but less violent!

Socialized medicine isn't even true to be honest we pay a much higher tax rate to get the medical care that we have. That is in Ontario only. But the medical care that you get varies from province to province and in every province (except Ontario) you have to pay a fee for your medical coverage. The fee is not very much but you still pay. Having a medical system such as we do doesn't make us a socialist society.

We do have social programs in Canada with our Health Care which costs approximately a 100 billion per year to fund by individuals and as well big business. We are a peaceful and loving people who are more the peace keepers rather than war mongers as the current Bush Administration is in the United States.

I would sooner be a Canadian travelling the world and not have any problems where ever I may go as Canada is known for our peace keeping efforts as well as that we are peaceful.

Socialist is just a word. Our highway system is socialist. The beaches are socialist. Any municipal golf course is socialist. Sewers, water systems, the FAA--all publicly owned, all socialist. Its nothing to be afraid of. Canada has socialized medicine. The system works quite well, a lot better than the US system, which is vastly over priced, inefficient, and leaves about 60,000,000 people with no coverage. Many countries adopt forms of or variations on socialism and it does not effect the peoples freedom at all. England, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Italy, Japan...the list is very long..and none of these places are tyranies or suffer from loss of individual liberty.

No, technically Canada is not a socialist country, but they do have socialized medicine, as does England, I believe, and it seems they are leaning hard that way.

No it's not.

You can't have socialism without first getting rid of capitalism.
