I Broke My Screen Door Lock Thing
The Handle The ONe You Open Froom The Outside Wont Open The Door it just keep goin around in circles

remove the screws on the interior plate cirrounding the handle. you'll find a square steel pin. take it up to hardware store and they'll find you one to match. make sure you get both piece if it is broke.

They are pretty cheap as replacements so I think you committed a misdemeanor not a felony. Tell them you broke it by bumping it as you were taking out the trash for them.
Spend your own money and get a replacement that won't take long to put in.

Likely the rod inside snapped of. No way to fix it unless you have another like rod, just replace it. Under $10
