The neighbor lady listens to a christian rock radio station. While I was over there helping her out, she had the radio on and was on and they were having a fundraiser. They kept saying "Please send NO LESS than 100 dollars.." and then I found out the fundraiser was to start a radio station in IRELAND.

There are babies right here in our own country eating garbage to stay alive and they want "no less than 100 dollars" to fund a RADIO STATION in IRELAND??

That's sad... Really sad. I can understand trying to help the world, but we should probably start with the poverty right here in the US. I mean, how do we know that they won't keep 99% of it, and give that measly 1% to Ireland? It just makes me sad, what people do these days.

True what you said about the kids and that's a disgrace, but the radio station was what they were raising money for.

yea that is ridiculous. but you need to send a letter to that radio station. it's one thing to be aware of the idiocy going on but it's quite another to do something about it. good luck!

Wow...you would think that they would be happy to accept any money. But I agree, I think that we should start helping people in our country before we go saving the rest of the world.

That's typical, people worry so much about other countries while their own fellow Americans fall down the Nation's poop chute.

Nothing about human nature surprises me, I'm afraid.

I agree with you, we keep donating our money to what we probably think is a good cause, when really half the money we donate don't even go to the causes that we want them to go to.
