I'm sure we all do that from time to time. It's all about the different people we are around at that moment in time. Some we can be more open with, some more intellectual, others more naughty. We all have a wide range of different individuals as friends I'm sure.

Probably, I think everyone does that from time to time. People come together for different things they have in common, and I would think that depending on the dynamics of which friends are around someone at the time, different sides of their personalities might come out more than others. Underneath it all, I think people are always themselves for the most part. Only someone who knows another person's secrets well could.....
I'm starting to feel defensive here for some reason, I'm not sure how to explain what I mean...

If you mean, do they act one way when they are with just me, and another way, when in a group of people, then, yes, sometimes, some of them do. I know some people who tend to follow the crowd. If you mean, do they act one way around me, and another way around other people, such as their family, or co-workers, then, the answer would also be yes, I'm guessing because they might feel the need to hide certain aspects of their personalities from certain people.

I don't know about them I think they probably do. I know I act a bit differently around them. More crazy around some friends and then more mellow around others. I'm sure they must do the same thing as well.

When I was in high school, that was the case. Now, it's not so bad, but it still happens. They just want to impress people. Well, they aren't impressing me, that's for sure.

I don't know; I don't have any friends that live in the same town as me.....but my girlfriends in high school did that to me all the time and I'm sure I've done it too...

yes that has happened quite often to me.I think some are trying to be what they perceive to be what the people around them want to be and not their selves
I just re-read that and it sounds like gibberish but I am too lazy to change it now,I just need one more drink I think...

yes!!! and that can either be a bad thing or a good thing, for me it is a good thing!!!, they feel comforatable around me!!!
