Not really, but ...
you could always consider telling the children about
the SABBATH.
I taught Sabbath School lessons to grades 4 and 5
and it is inspiring to see their fertile natures being
truly inquisitive about Creation,
the 10 Commandments,
Holy Days listed in the Bible, and
E S P E C I A L L Y ... the simple word "forever"

Have you googled anything like "Sunday School Lessons?" I did something similar for lesson plans and there are a lot of sites out there for that. I think you should keep your subject or theme of the day in line with whatever theme the minister uses in his sermon that day, but that's just me.

Depending on the age group you teach, my favorite book of the Bible has been, and always will be, Reveleation. I always find lessons about that intriguing

I used to make paper fish and put paper clips on them. I'd then have a fishing pole with a magnet on it. We'd talk about "fishers of men"; I'd have verses on the fish.. Sometimes we'd make edible play dough...using peanut butter. (check for allergies)
