My boyfriend had a day off and I remembered that a mountain ski resort was having a free concert day. We got into my convertible and drove through the sunny mountains with the top down. Traffic was light and I could smell the mountain breeze while I listened to my “Moby” Cd’s.

We got there and there was a buzz of activities going on. They had trampolines, miniature golf, horseback riding, mountain bike rentals, and tummy sleds. The bands were strumming & away rocking out, “Gin Blossums“ I think. We were poor but noticed that there was free lift tickets to the top of the mountain. As we floated up the mountain, the noise slowly disappeared. At the top there was still small piles of snow and we got into a playful snow fight in the middle of summer.

Ski trails become hiking trails, and we decided to explore what was above us. Being athletic, we ditched all the weak people who were hiking in no time. Soon, we came to the “Moggles” which without the snow are really a boulder field. He is a great climber and so am I; however, I’m practical and worry about ways to get down from rock climbing. Finally, we get to a compromise on where to hike and are like deer owning the mountain. When we’re all alone, we decide it’s time to sunbath and enjoy our water.

Time stands still and all seems to be in harmony when you’re sunbathing on top of a snowy mountain in the middle of summer with someone you love.

My four chidren and I were camping with a friend and her two children in Turlock Ca. The kids were catching crayfish and swimming.
They started out afraid of the critters and within 30 minutes they were on their way to filling a bucket with them.
We had a ball

I spent the day at the beach. It was wonderful. We ate at a little restuarant on the beach and then went swimming and went for a walk. Afterwards my sister, my friend and I went to this guy's house and just hung out with him. It was awesome!

I've had many. My favorites are probably when I go camping. Just me, my family, and fun! No worries, no deadlines, no cleaning, and cooking is actually fun. Not to mention being outdoors. I absolutly love it.
