Why should French NOT be mandatory? ><

In many schools French (or any foreign language) is not mandatory.

I can think of more reasons why a foreign language would be useful and should be mandatory then not, but here is one idea. If a student has great difficulty with learning then sometimes a foreign language is just not going to benefit them all that much. Often times they struggle through the whole thing and never really end up learning much at all. This is of course is only a very small percentage of students. However, if the language were not mandatory then they would not have to suffer through it.

specific, French is mandatory at school to Grade 7 in maximum cities. you may take a distinctive language in Grade 8 and up if the college gives you one. the suitable rule varies based wherein city in better Vancouver you reside in. And in case you will stay in Canada, and you assume to slot in, only suck it up and take the French training.
