Not all men just like not all women are the same. You didn't mention anything about marrying any of these men that you lived with. If that's the case then that should tell you one thing about them, they cannot commit to marry you so what kind of lifetime commitment would they make? As far as th type of men they are, where did you meet these men - in bars? You can tell a lot about the men you involve yourself with by where you meet them and how, how long you get to know them before you have intimacy, and how long you get to know them before you decide to live with them. If you try to rush into playing house without knowing a person more than a year you tend to end up with the same result - a shorter than lifetime commitment. Look at these last three relationships and see if you might not be at least 50% to blame here because of going to fast before making life changing decisions.

SOmetimes a man's trys to get out of a relationship but finds it easier to cheat so the woman can call it quits because he doesn't know how without messing everything up. But some men like myself are resposible and are committed to one woman at a time. ALso not only men do that women also have their times of infidelity, too. SO don't blame the men for everything.

Don't live with men before you get married! You know the old saying" why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free"?
Also think about your kids. How many men do they they know as there dad and why have men coming in and out of your family?
Also don't be a doormat to these jerks b/c they know somehow that they can cheat with you but you will get rid of them but somewhere along the line they must have some sort of screwy reasoning why they can cheat on you. Just think about it.

not true with all men.
stop worrying about why it happened, get comfortable with yourself and move on.
my ex is now married to her divorce lawyer, living in my house (i'm not there), and i'm still paying for it. i found out after the divorce that she was humping him for 6 months before we broke up. yes i know i'm an idiot for still paying the mortgage but my sons need a roof over their head and i'm happy to do it.

My husband is a man, and he is committed to me, one woman. You are not being careful with the company you keep.

BOYS are like that. No matter how old they are, if they act like that, they are boys. Anyway, a lot of guys THINK they are ready to be monogamous, but when it sinks in, they get scared and start making mistakes. That's biology.

Do what I did. Investigate why you keep ending up with people like this. I know I saw red flags with my second (current) husband, but I dismissed them, thinking it was just him having a bad day, or maybe he WAS just talking dirty and nothing more...then I slapped myself and said WTF? He was talking dirty in email and posting ads on DATING SERVICES saying he was up for a few "naughty" things, and since he TELLS me it was all word games, I'm LETTING HIM SLIDE? No more of that. I'm waiting for the third strike, then I'M out!
