How the entity conducts itself in relation to internal and external contingenies with the view to creating the most favourable environment for the entities business operations.

This means that the business tries to have good client support to avoid negative word of mouth that can impact of its ability to sell product, sponsoring the local footy team to look like a good corporate citizen adn encourage people to buy from the business. Sponsor large events for the advertising but also to create a positive image. Donate money to issue sthat the commuiinty is concerned about, package products in the most environmentally friendly way to encourage greater acceptance of the product in the community etc etc. Its all about looking like a good guy who is listenig to its staff and customers (and community) and not putting profit first ... so that it is easier for the business to operate in a particular place and also to achieve maximum product acceptance and therefore maximum profits.
