Little pleasures - playing in the snow with my kids, dancing with them, acting silly, maybe jumping on the bed or something like that. Bedtime is a good one, too. I enjoy the snuggles & reading books together, then I get to enjoy spending time alone with my hubby, talking about our days.

Reading something that gives you a smile or a laugh. . .most recent for me. . .The Four Beauties by H.E. Bates.
Seeing my little dog shun me all day until dinner time. . .she's a whore for food.
Hearing from far away friends and having a laugh.
These first few warm days that are the beginning of Spring.
Getting out into the yard and preparing the vegetable beds.

Being able to sit and watch my favorite tv show in tivo without commercials. Sitting down for a good lunch with my ipod and a book and being all by my self for an hour. Driving with my dad and arguing about something that I wont remember when we get home. Many, many other things which I wont tell any one about.

The sunshine, the smile in my boyfriends eyes when he looks at me, the sound of his voice every morning, The smell of fresh brewed coffee, knowing my family is still here, just being alive to enjoy or even have a bad day.

Probably when I wake up and find that nobody left me a mess from the night before and my car still has sufficient gas in it to get me to work!
