My doctor thinks that i have PCOS due to my history of irregular cycles. I just met with him yesterday and he advised Medformin. He said that this should regulate my cycles within two to three months. I asked him if there is a benefit of taking this rather than clomid and he stated that clomid would not protect against miscarriages. (Due to hormone levels) I also asked him what I could do if the medformin did not help with my husband and I conceiving and he said that he would then add clomid in addition to the medformin.

I'm thin and not overweight...
I won't know if this method helps until the next few months. I hope my information was useful to you!!

I myself have not. I did 3 rounds of Clomid and found out that I am not ovulating at all. So, this past week she referred me out to a specialist. Although, I do belong to a baby website and its all women on Clomid and many have become pregnant. So, keep your head up!
