Right now! Don't wait until summer because that's when everyone will be looking. Go after the job you want right now!

Summer is the most common time teens work, but you need to start looking now and at least submit your resume for people to have on file (Make lots of copies, even for jobs you'd think don't require them. People will be impressed and appreciate that you treated their jobs with respect) . This is especially true if you live in a college town. If you start looking at the end of the spring, jobs will be gone. So get your name out there!
