im 23yrs old female from SE london and keep tarantulas and i have snakes but i cant seem to find common ground with anybody else when it comes to my love of tarantulas! they are so great and totally misunderstood! there must be some1 who agrees! by the way im not a wierd lady i jus happen to like tarantulas but not house spiders oh no i hate them! ok that does sound wierd but with tarantulas i no every part of their bodies unlike other spiders! natalie

i have a chilean rose t i've had her 6 months and at xmas she laid eggs i incubated them and had a proud batch of 120 (give or take a few) nymphs, they have all moulted now and mum moulted at the same time i have sold 60 and still have 60 at home i can't get enough i want a pink toe next or maybe a curly hair, or red knee not quite sure so spoilt for choice

My dad love tarantulas. His nickname has been spider for as long as I can remember. His last tarantula died so he is getting a new one. I had a Rose Hair and she was a great pet. She loved to be handled and I really think she liked to be talked to. I know she knew the souind of my voice. She would eat out of my hand and never even acted like she wanted to bite. If she would get upset she would throw hairs but not that often. I would have another one in a heartbeat...

yes i love tarantulas also and i have 17 tarantulas and that is all i am getting more they are the best pets ever and when i started a year ago i thoguht i would get one and the my collection began to get bigger and bigger and getting more like ever day so yes it is not weird just a very expensive hobby
