You CAN go to college and you CAN afford it! There are so many ways to get financial aid in America, it's ridiculous! I am sorry but if you live in the U.S. and complain about not being able to get an education, there is something wrong. Go to your local university and ask them where the financial aid office is. Talk to a counselor and they will tell you how they can help you pay for college. It's their job! You have to be worth something to someone in order to be recognized. Now, that doesn't always mean getting a degree, but it's a d@#$ good start!

There is more to getting a job than college. When I first started out as an associate in a mall store, I had little experience, and even less college experience. I was able to use that, and within a few years became the Regional Manager of that company. I have since left, and worked at several other companies, using that experience.
I took it upon myself to pull the manager aside, and offer to help. I didn't ask for a pay raise, or any special treatment. I was only after the experience.
You can do the same thing at any job. If you are willing to step up, and take on the responsibility, without wanting anything but the experience, most companies are happy to oblige.
Good Luck.....

If you look in the classifieds sections of your local newspapers (it's MUCH EASIER if you search their online versions), you will be able to find jobs that only require a high school diploma, or some college coursework with no degree.
Do you have any special skills, like typing, illustrating, etc? Sometimes you can find jobs dealing with your specialties and these usually pay higher.
I hear telemarketers usually get paid pretty well.
Yeah the cycle SUCKS doesn't it? Basically, start saving up so you can go to college to at least get an Associate's degree.

Generally education will help you get a better job. You will, of course, need to learn something that you can apply to a career, so not just any education will instantly make for better paying jobs.
However, moving up on the ladder will also pay better. Going into management positions have more responsibility but normally pay more.

There are community colleges that are very affordable, and there are also employers out there who offer tuition reimbursement programs as a benefit. Look into the companies that will pay for your education and then take advantage of every educational opportunity that you can. Good luck!

Start your own business, part time. Become a student and learn. Pick something you have a passion for and don't mind developing expertise in.
How? There are some neat ways to get started.....more perspectives can be obtained if you are interested. Just send an email.
