What cause men to cheat?????

I think it comes down to a person's character when it comes to cheating. That's goes for men & women. It's not the wife's fault, don't blame yourself for your husband mistake. They're looking for excitement and people always think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, or that somehow someway somthing great lies in wait for them somewhere out there. For some it's just easy to forget to appreciate what they have and that its most likely better than anything "out there". Everyone know's that if caught cheating it can cause damage & destroy families, if a person still choosies to do it. Then hey what else is left to be said to & about that person.

Many people (men AND women) cheat because it's thrilling to them. They want to be adventurous. It's nice to have a white pickett fence and two cats in the yard, but some people still feel the need to go climb Mount Everest. The adrenaline gets them going.

I don't think a long-term relationship *can* provide just such an adrenaline boost. It's a matter of giving up the short-term rush of excitement for the long-term companionship. Some people can do it, others want to have both.

Well, I'm a man I could ask the same of the women that cheated on me. I don't cheat but the difference is that most women don't want men like me with values. They're always looking for the "rebel" type and then wonder why they cheat on them and do stupid things.

I dont think there is any one reason why men cheat. i dont beleive that all men are cheaters that would be unjust to say that. Some men dont get what they want with theor wives and go else where to get it it some cant resist temptaion as its put there way. But lets not forget woman cheat as well and that can be just as crippling as a man cheating I hate cheats and theres no excuse no matter what sex you are

Well, how long have you been together. Were you once thin, and let yourself go, did you once give him space respect and freedome and now, nag and control? Men need to feel like men, they need to feel respected. Did you do something once in your relationship in the beginning that you dont do now, maybe there is something sexual that you are not providing for him.....Some men arent ready to settle down, and that is there way of showing it. They are with a women until something better comes a long, but with my experiance, it goes both ways, Why do women cheat, do we not fullfil your needs??

i dont know, i was with my girlfriend for two and a half years and i never got the feeling i needed or wanted to cheat. the only time she did not fulfill my desire was when she was on her period but that is understandable. when she went throught that time it made us grow more closer and in love. i guess that when i was with her i felt that the pain of her catching me cheating was greater than that of breaking up with her first hope this helps

it's a macho thing, insecurity, boredom, not getting
enough, curiosity, just don't plain give a da**,
wants to be a stud, etc etc. As for me I am a loving
and faithful husband and cheating is not in my vo-
