Stick with 5w30 oil.

I have a 92 MX-3. It requires 5w-30w engine oil. This is used by both the 4 cyl. and V-6 engines. Try not to use the 10w-30w because this will effect the oil pressure. Also it will cause the lifters to make a ticking noise.

it will most likely be a 5/30 weight try the sticker under the hood or call the dealer

10W-30 or 10W-40 will work just fine.
