Does a grey sweater go with khaki pants? would that be really bad?

Depending on the shade of grey (like if it's light) it may appear a little dull, but certainly it shouldn't clash.

it can go together. depends a little bit on the color of the khaki pants and the grey sweater. I like kind of a medium grey sweater and darker khaki/tan colors. I see this alot on j. crew's store front windows.

i wouldn't however do really light stone colored khakis and light grey. chocolate brown would also be nice to wear with the grey sweater.

Depends if you mean Khaki as a color. A fine Merino or a cashmere grey v neck tastefully done looks great with khaki colored fine corduroys. Khakis very from very tannish/brown to taupish/white. Do the latter. Try a crisp, eqyptian cotton blue checked button down along with it. Very casual Euro. Don't let the Old Navy Gapheads convince you otherwise.

Yeah it goes okay, but you can also try a maroon or blue sweater, that'll look the best but as long as you think the gray goes with it, then it'll look good.

i love our uniform! compared to all the other schools. we where a pleated navy blue with white and lighter blue skirt (in winter navy stockings underneath or navy pants) and a white school shirt (with logo and that) and navy blue or white long socks (but not knee-high) and we have to wear black school shoes. I go to riverside girls high in sydney australia. and our teachers arnt strict at alll we can practically do anything we want!! =)

Ya, depends on how you make it work. I think it'll look fine, Gray and brown could go together. Not usually...but sure.

not really, most anything except for a t-shirt will go w/ khakis.
