Okay. I'm leaving this summer to live with a family member. I will have to get a job there. I don't know anybody, and it IS summer so I want to have a good time. I dont meet people very easily, and I don't know how to. I feel dumb approaching someone and saying hi or anything. I really want to make some new friends there and have a great time this summer. How do I meet people? What should I say? Also I want to meet some guys but I have no idea what to say to them.

Relax, be yourself! Have fun!
You will meet people at your job I would think.
Join extra curricular activities that interest you.
Above all relax, smile, be yourself. Have fun! It is the summer after all.
When you meet guys, smile! Say Hi and introduce yourself. You can ask them if they are from around the area and if they can recommend a good coffee shop, sandwich shop, etc.
It can be fun meeting new people but don't forget to use common sense as well! Take care of yourself and trust your instincts.

It sounds like a great opportunity to break out and be something a little different.If you don't see any of these people again great.Works always a safe place to meet folks. Have fun with it. Learn new things Enjoy.

if your that worried you'll never meet anyone.. the only thing you need to worry about is this... "worry about the moon falling down" now your worries don't seem so big huh... mainly be your self if you don't then your not being true to them or you... and that always ends up hurting someone.

just what ever you do do not make them think you are stupid. jusrt either avoid situations that make you look dumb or you can be yourself and if you end up looking dumb they will not care
