Men, Women & Children - this band THOROUGHLY reminds me of P@TD.
Young Love - this band also reminds me of P@TD.
Motion City Soundtrack - "The Future Freaks Me Out" is a great song by these guys, upbeat.

Taking Back Sunday - my personal favorite band.
The Strokes - You'd probably really enjoy this band.
The Hives - This band always reminds me of the Strokes for some reason lol.

Third Eye Blind - AMAZING band, you'd probably love them and already know them from their songs "Slow Motion" (p@td did a cover of that song live), and "Semi-Charmed Life" and "Never Let You Go"

The Academy Is
Acceptance
All Time Low
Boys Like Girls
Brand New - my 2nd/maybe first most favorite band.
Cartel
Death Cab for Cutie
Franz Ferdinand
Modest Mouse - their new single "Dashboard" is awesome.
Oasis
OK Go
Nada Surf - "Blankest Year" is a great song, reminds me of Rooney a little.
Over It - great vocals
Mute Math
Cute Is What We Aim For
The Format
Goo Goo Dolls
Spoon - "The Way We Get By"
Incubus
The Starting Line - pop punk/reminds me a little of yellowcard with fall out boy..
Muse
Mayday Parade - You'd like their song "When I Get Home You're So Dead"
The Matches
Sugarcult - pop punk, you'd probably like them
Jack's Mannequin
Something Corporate
Hit The Lights
Mae
Jimmy Eat World - LOVE this band.
Quietdrive
Relient K
Paramore - female singer but really good band.
The Shins
Snow Patrol - okay despite hearing "Chasing Cars" every other second on the radio, listen to their songs "Spitting Games", "Run", "Chocolate" [those 3 on the Final Straw album], "Set The Fire To The Third Bar" & "Open Your Eyes" off the new album.

Youth Group is also a good band, very indie and reminds me of Nada Surf.

^ You can listen to all the samples of their music (okay most bands not all) on www.purevolume.com too to find signed/unsigned/known/unknown/indie rock bands you'd like.

If you're looking to try something new, try "Mr. Bungle". Every songis totally different than the last, most of their songs completely change 5 or 6 times in each song, and the band members are super talented. The singer, Mike Patton, is easily the most versatile and talented singer in rock/alternative music (if you don't believe me, see his profile on Wikipedia linked below and buy some of his stuff). Check them out.

I could list hundreds of different bands but I won't. A good place to start is somewhere like myspace. Find one of the bands you really like and use their friends list as a guide to finding more music. It's like a huge musical spiderweb one leading to the next and the next and so on.

One other piece of advice, don't ever limit yourself in your musical tastes, or any tastes for that matter. Always be open to new experiences be they musical or other because you might be missing out on something you would really dig given the chance.

If you like the Killers, you would probably like the Bravery. If you like Queen you might like a new artist named Mika (try the song "Grace Kelley"). And I'm not into the emo stuff but I'm guessing you would love the Plain White T's.

Queen.. I'm not talking about queens greatest hits either. I'm talking about good old queen. You know songs like Son and Daughter or Dragon Attack or Ogre Battle. Queen 1 is a great album. Check it out.
