16 ounces (if that is the only dairy they are getting). People need around 3-4 servings of dairy/d. One serving of milk for kids 1-3 years old is 4oz or 1/2 cup. If they are getting other dairy, serve less milk so that total dairy does not exceed 4 servings/d. You don't want them to get too much fat, cholesterol or calories from milk. It's important to set healthy eating habits now!

I'm not sure...Ehehe, BUT, I can give you some advice.

*Milk is actually not good for you; If you're gonig to buy milk, buy Non-Homogenized.

When milk is homogenized; well, it's a hard process to explain, but it is mainly done to normal milk to make it last longer on the shelves.

*Homogenized milk can caues major heart problems. If I were you, I'd look for Non-homogenized, it is hard to find, looks funky, and spoils in liek a week. (Luckily, it is good and healthy for you.)

I would say as much as they want as well, as long as they're not exhibiting signs of being lactose interolerant, which my son is. So, you're quite lucky because soy milk is gross and I have a heck of a time getting him to drink it. Good luck.
